For our May club meeting we had a follow up to a Landscape Photography talk given by Don Bishop at our April meeting and looked at what we felt made a landscape picture ‘pop’ and what left us a bit underwhelmed.
We covered some techniques and processes that can be used to get the most out of our landscapes, which included the use of polarizing filters, variable ND and ND filters as well as post processing techniques in Photoshop and similar post processing software.
We looked at a selection of members pictures, some that they were pleased with and they felt met their expectations, and some that they felt had fallen short of the image they hoped they had captured.
We had an open and entertaining discussion about what might have been done to improve the poor pics.
And here are a selection of the better images presented.

Great job Mick. K.
