April Club Meeting – Project 111

At our April club meeting we decided to return to an old favourite practical activity that we hadn’t done for some time.

The idea behind Project 111 is that members get to choose one subject from a list provided, they then have one hour to go and take pictures and then have to choose one image to share with the group, straight out of camera with no post processing!

This is a great exercise to get the brain and creative juices working and without doubt has everyone working outside their comfort zone.

I makes us all think about techniques that we can use when photographing everyday, mundane objects to make the image more appealing. This included black and white photography, Intentional Camera Movement, Multiple Exposure, Long Exposure and use of the camera’s creative filters.

As always, the team rose to the challenge and we were treated to a super selection of images.

I’ve included them here, as they came out of camera with no post processing or editing. On this occasion, I’ve not put individual copywrite statements on the images, but the creative individuals who produced these images obviously retain copywrite.
