Well our November club meeting was really the final set of three, where we were looking at post processing and some of the techniques available to us with modern technology. We discussed why you may want to do it, what it consists of and the benefits and possible pitfalls you may come across.

At this meeting we were looking at the experience, and some of the problems, our members had in post processing. They were very generous in sharing some of their successes and failures, but it was great to see some images that looked hopeless being turned into stunning and in some cases, award winning, pictures.

It was not only current and modern pictures taken with digital camera’s that we explored. We also spent a little time looking at some old family pictures that were badly damaged and appeared to be ready for the bin, that we were able to rescue using modern technology and techniques.

And finally, we had a quick look at how you can take selections of your own, or even stock, pictures to create fantasy images that could only have existed in your imagination.
