The Missing Sunset – Our April Meeting

Well, we had our first practical session of the year organised by Kevin Lane, was a walk around Ockbrook to try and capture a stunning sunset.

Although the sky looked promising as we set out, cloud on the horizon seemed to appear from nowhere and in the end we didn’t quite get the sunset we hoped for. Having said that, it’s clear from the discussion in the clubroom afterwards that we all enjoyed the walk, the banter and we even managed to get some photography done!

Our theme for next month is of Low Light/Sunset, which means that if you did get a decent image from our walk, you can submit that! Just one image though please as we will have another busy practical evening. Deadline is Saturday 4th May.

Back at the clubhouse, over tea and coffee, we had time to enjoy the images submitted on the Facebook page on the theme of ‘Emotions’ and those submitted on our monthly theme of ‘Near and Far’.

So, enjoy another look at our photo’s on the theme of Near and Far.
