We’ve had a busy month at the Derby Cathedral in September. First of all we had the private club visit to the Cathedral organised by Dave King. An amazing evening with unrestricted access to all parts of the Cathedral topped off with a trip up the tower to view the City by night and we were even treated to a decent sunset. To have just the club members able to go into all parts of the Cathedral and able to photograph without having to worry about working around other members of the public was an absolute treat.
We were back again a few days later to photograph the Museum of the Moon display that is on for most of September. This is a stunning display and to see it in the setting of the Cathedral is a definitely a one off experience. I know members have been to see the exhibition at various times throughout the month and if you haven’t had chance yet, I strongly recommend to call in and see for yourself.
So for this post, we have two slideshows covering the two visits.
