Well our December club meeting followed the tradition of previous years Christmas meetings. It was a very social affair with our usual end of year Christmas quiz created as always by Martin Arrowsmith. Unfortunately due to illness, Martin wasn’t able to attend the meeting so the quiz was hosted by Kevin who was an excellent stand-in. A big thank you to both of you.

We decided to have a slide show theme of Trains, Boats, Planes and Automobiles this year as it is a time when many are travelling to be with family and friends over Christmas. As you can see from the slideshow below, the membership rose to this challenge with a fantastic and varied selection of images.

Our coffee/tea break was somewhat posher than normal with a very festive spread provided by Moy. You could tell how popular it was by how little was left at the end of the evening. Thank you Moy.

Finally I would like to give a big thank you to the OPC Committee, Martin, Kevin, Chris, Moy, Mark and Geoff. They all give their time and experience freely and if it wasn’t for their efforts, we wouldn’t have this super friendly club.
