Spinning, Sparkles and Long Exposure

Our November meeting was on fireworks night – so we just had to get something sparkly into the practical session.

A good portion of coloured lights helped things along the way, as did some sparklers. And fortunately, Mick is a dab hand at spinning hot wire wool over his head without causing anyone to be maimed or injured.

So while Dave and Mick pranced around with their glowsticks, members got to grips with their tripods, low ISOs and long exposures – anything from 4 to 30 seconds.

Then they went home to do some more long exposures of their own.

Needless to say, they didn’t disappoint and sent in some absolutely stunning and creative images for us to review at our December meeting.
